Maleeka

Chiropractic first became part of Maleeka’s life age 15, after a sports injury that changed everything. She was told by several doctors that she might need spinal surgery and would never play sports again. Chiropractic gave her another option, and that experience motivated her to learn more and ultimately pursue it as a career.

A graduate of the Welsh Institute of Chiropractic her goal has been to support people in managing their pain, improving their movement, and getting back to the activities they love. She focuses not only on treatment, but also on guiding patients through exercise, lifestyle, and day-to-day habits that make a real difference in their recovery.

Patients often describe her as approachable, energetic, and a good listener. She believes every patient’s journey is unique, and aims to work with them in a way that fits their needs and goals. She says that the most rewarding part of being a chiropractor is seeing people achieve things they thought were no longer possible, whether that’s playing a sport, being active with family, or simply moving without pain.

Outside of the clinic, she has always loved sport. Before her injury, she competed in tennis, netball, rounders, badminton, and athletics at a high level. Thanks to chiropractic, she’s been able to return to those activities again. She also enjoys singing and dancing, which patients may occasionally see hints of in the clinic!
